A 45-year-old male presented with symptoms of mild pain in his thigh area for six months. This coronal T1-weighted MRI image shows a low signal abnormality lying deep to the vastus medialis muscle just above the knee, immediately adjacent to the medial cortex of the femur, surrounded by benign-appearing fat. It could represent a malignant soft tissue sarcoma.
